Synopsis: Edmond Dantes (Jim Caviezel) is an honest and hardworking sailor. He lives a peaceful life and has made all his plans to marry the beautiful Mercedes (Dagmara Dominczyk). But Edmond's best friend, Fernand (Guy Pearce), also dreams about Mercedes. To achieve his goal, Fernand plays a trick on his best friend and makes him go to jail. The prison Edmond goes to is Chateau D'If, one of the toughest prisons in the country. Edmond suddenly finds himself in the middle of a nightmare in this island prison, where escape is impossible, and he has 13 years to end this nightmare. Now his only goal is to escape from this place and take revenge on those who ruined his life.
