One day, the frogs got into a race. The goal was to get to the top of a very high tower. A lot of frogs also gathered to watch their friends. And the race has begun.
In reality, none in the audience believed that the contestants could make it to the top of the tower. Only these voices could be heard: “Poor people! They will never succeed!”
When the frogs that started the race could not reach the top of the tower, they started to leave the race one by one. The audience was shouting: “Poor people! They will never make it…” In the end, all but one of the other frogs were discouraged and gave up. But the last remaining frog managed to climb to the top of the tower by struggling with great effort. Others, in amazement, wanted to know how he did it. A frog approached him and asked: "What is the secret of this success, my friend?" But he didn't get an answer. At that moment, they realized that… The frog that climbed the tower was deaf!
I guess it's best to be deaf to people who say you can't make your dreams and hopes come true, or who give you lots of negative reasons why you can't.
