It is not easy to adapt our minds to rapidly changing situations in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Making decisions, staying calm, feeling good need the mind to work in different ways. Just as it is difficult to act rationally when we are in an emotional mood, it is just as difficult to make sound decisions when we are confused.
In addition, when the stress, worry or anxiety we experience is added to this, it becomes even more difficult for our brain to show the desired performance. Our mind, which has difficulty in reaching the unique wisdom within, may experience many problems such as confusion, lack of attention, indecision or distraction. Therefore, it is of great importance to have the ability to make our brain ready when we want it. For this, the Mind Rooms Technique, which I have been working on for a while, will offer us a useful solution in increasing our mental performance.
The power of the technique comes from its simplicity and the unique results it creates. The main purpose is to organize our mental resources in the best way to reach the mental state we need quickly.
Imagine your mind as a house of rooms. Each of its rooms performs a different function of your mind. Just like in any house you live in. When you set up which room has a function, you now have a quick and short path to it. To cook in the real world, you go to your home kitchen. But to do a similar operation in your mental world, imagine that your brain looks into almost every room and often gets stuck. We encounter different situations many times during the day, and we have to enter and exit different mindsets. However, our brain cannot do this at the same speed due to the reasons we have just mentioned, and as a result, we are faced with situations that we do not want. We get demoralized, make wrong decisions, suffer financial losses, and often lose ourselves and engage in behaviors we don't want, and we regret the result.
The summary of our application is as follows: First, we go to a comfortable position and create an image of a house in our dreams. This house represents our mind or mental world. We position each room, shape our mental modes and complete the work. Then, when we need it during the day, we enter the relevant room of our mental house and quickly transition to the mental state we intended. Thus, we can make the best decisions and exhibit the most appropriate behaviors by being in the right mental state in the events we encounter.
