When the intelligence that Prometheus cunningly gave to people spoiled them, Zeus wanted to punish the human community, which was only men until then, and sent women to them. Zeus asked his son, Hephaestus, who was a highly successful master, to create the woman. At the request of his father, Hephaestus kneaded the mud with water and created a woman's body that would surprise those who see it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pandora, like all women, was naturally curious, and as soon as she was born, she began to think about what might be inside the box, forgetting Zeus' warning, she opened the box. All the evil in the box, such as sickness, grief, suffering, lies, hypocrisy, that would disturb people and lead them to disaster, all flew like birds from the opened box. Realizing her mistake, Pandora soon closed the box; however, among the evils that were enclosed in the box, there was also the "hope" that would keep people alive and console them. But hope remained in the box, unable to get out. Thus, Zeus took revenge on the people by sending the first woman to earth with a box full of evil.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
