Adams, ABD\u2019nin General Electric i\u015fletmesinde g\u00fcd\u00fcleme konusunda baz\u0131 ara\u015ft\u0131rma ve deneylerde bulunarak \u00f6d\u00fcl adaletinin \u00e7al\u0131\u015fanlar\u0131 s\u00fcrekli g\u00fcd\u00fclemek ve te\u015fvik etmek bak\u0131m\u0131ndan \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir de\u011feri oldu\u011funu bulgulam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Adams incelemelerinde bireylerin kendilerine verilen \u00f6d\u00fcllerle ba\u015fkalar\u0131na verilen \u00f6d\u00fclleri daima kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131klar\u0131 ve kendilerine uygun g\u00f6r\u00fclen \u00f6d\u00fcllerin benzer ba\u015far\u0131y\u0131 g\u00f6steren kimselerle ne oranda e\u015fit oldu\u011funu saptamaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 belirlemi\u015ftir. Bu kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmada bireyler kendilerinin \u00f6rg\u00fcte sunduklar\u0131 girdiler veya de\u011ferler olarak emekleri, zekalar\u0131, bilgi, tecr\u00fcbe ve yetenekleri ile buna ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak ortaya koyduklar\u0131 ba\u015far\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedirler. Buna kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k, \u00f6rg\u00fctten sa\u011flad\u0131klar\u0131 \u00f6d\u00fcller olarak \u00fccret ve stat\u00fc art\u0131\u015flar\u0131, primler, ikramiyeler ve benzeri sosyal yard\u0131mlar y\u00f6netsel yetkiler ve kaynaklar ile i\u015f g\u00fcvenli\u011fi ve i\u015fyeri ko\u015fullar\u0131n\u0131 iyile\u015ftirme ve benzeri hususlar gelmektedir. Bireyler \u00f6d\u00fcl adaletini belirlemek i\u00e7in bu iki unsurun birbirleri aras\u0131ndaki oranlar\u0131n\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmaktad\u0131r. E\u011fer e\u015fitsizlik varsa \u00f6d\u00fcl adaletinin bozuldu\u011fu ve bir dengesizlik hali ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6zlenmektedir (Eren, 2001; 522).<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Birey kendi girdi\/\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131 oranlar\u0131yla ba\u015fkalar\u0131n\u0131n girdi\/\u00e7\u0131kt\u0131 oran\u0131n\u0131 k\u0131yaslayarak bir de\u011ferlendirme yapmaktad\u0131r. E\u015fitlik duygusu; alg\u0131lanan \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131 ve girdilerinin e\u015fit olmas\u0131n\u0131 gerektirmemekte, sadece oranlar\u0131n\u0131n ayn\u0131 olmas\u0131n\u0131 ya da e\u015fit olmas\u0131n\u0131 gerektirmektedir. Birey kendisini ba\u015fkalar\u0131yla k\u0131yaslarken \u00e7ok s\u0131k\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 daha y\u00fcksek \u00fccret almay\u0131 hak etti\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnebilir. O zaman bu bireyin \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\/girdi oran\u0131 daha y\u00fcksek kabul edilmektedir. \u0130\u015fte birey \u00f6rg\u00fcte sundu\u011fu girdiler sonucu elde etti\u011fi \u00f6d\u00fclleri di\u011fer ki\u015filerle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131r. Burada \u015funu belirtmek gerekir ki bu kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmalar, ortalamalar ve kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lan gruplar bireyin s\u00fcbjektif alg\u0131lar\u0131 olmaktad\u0131r (Moorhead vd.,1989; 135).<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ki\u015finin bu oranlar birbirlerinden ne kadar b\u00fcy\u00fck ya da k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck olduklar\u0131nda denksizlik duyaca\u011f\u0131, yani denksizli\u011fin ne zaman duyulmaya ba\u015flanaca\u011f\u0131 sorusu sorulabilir. Birey \u00f6rg\u00fcte ayn\u0131 girdi d\u00fczeyini sa\u011flamay\u0131 s\u00fcrd\u00fcrecektir. En az\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar\u0131yla paralellik g\u00f6sterdi\u011fi s\u00fcrece de\u011fi\u015fmeyecektir ve ayn\u0131 zamanda di\u011ferlerine ili\u015fkin girdi ve \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131s\u0131 da de\u011fi\u015fmeyecektir. Buna kar\u015f\u0131n, e\u015fitsizlik duyan bir ki\u015fi e\u015fitsizli\u011fi azaltmak i\u00e7in g\u00fcd\u00fclenmektedir.
