“I HAD A DREAM… THAT WAS IT!!!”
The 43-year-old Austrian athlete Felix Baumgartner, who broke all the records in this field with his free jump on the evening of October 14, came up with a painting that he drew when he was 5 years old and gave it to his mother as a gift.
In the picture, the family of dreamer Felix, who is seen floating on his back with a parachute in a sunny sky, is waiting for their son below, staring at the sky.
Commenting on the picture, “I had a dream…that was it!!!” Baumgartner, who writes, tells his story as follows: “I drew this picture and gave it to my mother. When I did my first freediving on August 23, 1986, my mother gave the painting back to me. It's very interesting to see where your thoughts and vision take you. If you stay focused and hold on tight, you can succeed no matter how hard it is.”
